Time to Get Ready for Turkey Day

Halloween has come and gone, and now it’s time to get ready for Thanksgiving. Before you make a trip to your storage unit, pack up all of your Halloween decorations (read about how to best store your costumes and decorations here and make a list of the items you want to retrieve for your Thanksgiving celebration. • The special china used only when family comes in from out of town
• Turkey utensils:
  • Turkey fryer
  • Baster
  • Large pan
  • Carving knife
• Extra casserole dishes for sides
• Warmer or chafing dishes
• Your special decorations:
  • Tablecloths
  • Table runners
  • Placemats
  • Your cloth napkins and napkin rings
  • Centerpieces
  • Your turkey-themed salt and pepper shakers, oven mitts, hand towels for the guest bathroom and other household decorations
• The card table you’ll use for the kids table
• Extra bedding and/or air mattress for after-meal naps and out-of-town visitors
