Getting to Storage Post Ridgewood

If you're coming from Rego Park, take the I-495 W/Long Island Expressway via the ramp to Midtown Tunnel. Take the Exit 18/Maurice Ave. exit. Merge onto Queens Midtown Expressway, turn left onto Maurice Ave., and turn left onto Borden Ave. Turn right onto 60th St., left onto Maspeth Ave., right onto 61st St., right onto Flushing Ave., and then right onto Metropolitan Ave.

If you're coming from Bushwick, go northeast on Linden St. toward Knickerbocker Ave. Turn left onto Woodward Ave, then right onto Starr St., and then turn left onto Metropolitan Ave.

If you're coming from Bedford-Stuyvesant, head north on Throop Ave. toward Brother George Washington Way "Legendary Boxing Trainer"/Gates Ave. Turn right onto Flushing Ave., then turn left onto Woodward Ave., and then take a sharp right onto Metropolitan Ave.

What items can I store?

Our location at Ridgewood has a variety of differently sized units to accommodate everything from small items up to dining tables, beds, and more. It hopefully goes without saying, but our storage units can't be used for storing:

  • live animals; 
  • food; 
  • hazardous materials; 
  • stolen and/or illegal goods; 
  • certain other items - please check with us if you're not sure.
What forms of payment are available?

You can pay your bill by cash, check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) or money order.

Can I get a discount or a better rate by signing up for a longer term (e.g. one year)? 

If you're looking on our website, you're already getting the best available rate for storage at Ridgewood! We don't require a minimum stay, and the rate you're offered won't change for at least the first six months of occupancy! So, use our site to find the ideal storage unit to meet your needs, and rest easy knowing that you're getting the best available price.

Do I need to take insurance, or can I be self-insured?

Our Occupancy Agreement requires that you maintain a policy of insurance for your stored goods. You may satisfy this requirement by participating in our Tenant Elite Protection Plan, which provides peace of mind knowing that the value of your items is covered in the event of Fire, Theft, Smoke, Wind Storm Damage, or Roof Leak. If you choose not to participate in our plan, you must provide proof of insurance for your goods.
