Getting to Storage Post Garden City

Notice that our location is in Garden City, New York, not Garden City, New Jersey. Our location is on Long Island, and Garden City is part of the village of Hempstead in Nassau County.

If you’re coming from Manhasset, take Shelter Rock Road and use the right lane to take the Northern Parkway ramp to Hauppauge. Take exit 31A for Meadowbrook State Parkway toward Jones Beach, then take exit M1 E to merge onto Old Country Rd. toward Westbury. Turn right after Wendy's (on the right), turn right again, and then turn right onto Axinn Ave.

If you’re coming from Hempstead, turn left onto Clinton St., turn right onto Old Country Road, turn right after Wendy's (on the right), turn right again, and then turn right once more onto Axinn Ave.

If you’re coming from Westbury, head south on Post Ave., then turn right on Old Country Road. Turn left onto E. Gate Blvd. Turn right, and then turn right onto Axinn Ave.

Bus: N22, N24 (Nassau Inter-County Express) - Stop: Zeckendorf Blvd./E. Gate Blvd.

What items can I store?

Our location at Garden City has a variety of differently sized units to accommodate everything from small items up to dining tables, beds, and more. It hopefully goes without saying, but our storage units can't be used for storing:

  • live animals; 
  • food; 
  • hazardous materials; 
  • stolen and/or illegal goods; 
  • certain other items - please check with us if you're not sure.
What forms of payment are available?

You can pay your bill by cash, check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) or money order.

Can I get a discount or a better rate by signing up for a longer term (e.g. one year)? 

If you're looking on our website, you're already getting the best available rate for storage at Garden City! We don't require a minimum stay, and the rate you're offered won't change for at least the first six months of occupancy! So, use our site to find the ideal storage unit to meet your needs, and rest easy knowing that you're getting the best available price.

Do I need to take insurance, or can I be self-insured?

Our Occupancy Agreement requires that you maintain a policy of insurance for your stored goods. You may satisfy this requirement by participating in our Tenant Elite Protection Plan, which provides peace of mind knowing that the value of your items is covered in the event of Fire, Theft, Smoke, Wind Storm Damage, or Roof Leak. If you choose not to participate in our plan, you must provide proof of insurance for your goods.
